Inspired by the elegance and sharpness of Samurai swords, Global has been making chef-quality knives since 1985 and are used worldwide by both professional chefs and home cooks. Global knives combine the finest quality stainless steel with innovative, modern designs to bring you the highest quality Japanese knives with exceptional value for money.
Designed for Quality
Global knives’ special tempering process creates knives that remain remarkably sharp and are able to resist rust, corrosion, and stains. Perfectly balanced and engineered to eliminate trapping food and dirt, Global’s products are among the easiest to use and most hygienic knives on the market. Ice-tempered and featuring Global's patented CROMOVA-18 stainless steel. Each knife features a high carbon steel with molybdenum and vanadium mix, achieving Rockwell hardness of between 56 to 58 HRC. This ensure the knives retain their sharp edge for longer while being exceptionally resistant to rust, stains and wear.
The iconic dimpled handles have become synonymous with the Global knife brand and serve two purposes. Being forged from the same single piece of steel as opposed to having handles separately bolted on, the Global knife handle is more durable and hygienic than traditional handles. The dimpled handles are also slip-resistant and ergonomic to allow the user to have greater control.
